Sydney Australia – Escapade Media had its official launch on Wednesday June 11, 2014. The event was held at Café Morso on the wharf in Pyrmont where guests found their way to the party via tea lights spelling out the word “welcome” and enjoyed drinks and canapés under a canopy of lanterns on the open deck. The calm winter’s night made for a positive turn out from industry producers, distributors, channels and government bodies.

Escapade introduced launch title Status Vacant and confirmed two of its recent drama deals: A dark Place to Die and a new Sherlock Holmes series aimed at the family audience.

Natalie Lawley commented after the event "Our wish is to be a major player in the international market place and we were thrilled to see so many old and new faces at the event. It just reaffirms our enthusiasm for developing premium commercial content."
