Animal Clinic is an observational documentary series which follows the extraordinary work at Ireland’s largest animal charity.
The high tech DSPCA clinic in the foothills of the Dublin mountains provides emergency care for every kind of domestic and wild animal imaginable, from horses to snakes, cats to parrots, nothing is turned away and everything is given a chance at this busy charity. They have a dedicated team of 32 staff who work around the clock to help animals in need.
This series has intimate and unhindered access to this unique facility and will follow the heartwarming and often heartbreaking stories of the animals and their carers. Out on the road with the rescue team and back at the clinic with the Vets and Care-Staff, each show will explore a wide range of animal cases, from abandoned pets in dire need of care and a new home, to injured hedgehogs, deer, horses and other wildlife requiring help to get back to full health.
